Halloween / Autumn Miniatures - Pièce Montée (Croquembouche)

With Halloween coming up on Friday, this week we thought we'd show you some of our favourite Halloween miniatures from our 2014 collection.

Halloween isn't really celebrated that much in France.  And we're personally not really into the gory severed fingers and gouged eyeballs stuff, so we try to add our own French touch to Halloween.

A great example of this was our Halloween croquembouche, or pièce montée; a traditional French celebration pastry given the Halloween/autumn treatment.

Our Halloween version was decorated with tiny candy pumpkins, chocolate stars, and the choux pastry balls were decorated in autumn colours.

Here are some more photos...

And this was really popular with collectors too.  Although we only initially made one (which sold within minutes), we had several requests for more.  So guess what I'll be working on as soon as I've finished writing this....?!

It has been re-listed here.

By the way, don't forget that if you do miss something in our Etsy store that you really want to add to your collection, just get in touch with us at parisminiatures@gmail.com or send us an Etsy conversation.

Right, back to the workshop!
