Painting and Pastries

We're on a bit of a roll at the moment - it's amazing what a bit of self-discipline and organisation will do!

Today's new pieces include some pretty little pâtisserie selections and a firescreen with some fine painting.  It's been a while since I've painted anything with as much detail as the firescreen piece and it made a relaxing change from polymer clay for a while.

I hope you enjoy seeing it along with the other new pieces, all of which have been listed in our Etsy store today.

Parisian Shabby Chic Chocolate Hutch

The last couple of days have been pretty hectic as we set ourselves a stupidly ambitious deadline - finish 40 miniatures, get them photographed and listed on Etsy. By this Saturday. Better make that Friday - we're out on Saturday...

But we did it!  It's now 6:30pm on Friday evening but everything is now ready in our Etsy store. There are cakes, pastries (what else did you expect?!) but also a few non-food pieces.

You'll also find this gorgeous chocolate-themed hutch which we're particularly happy with :)

So with our bellies rumbling (we skipped lunch!), we're about to wind things up for this week by telling you that those 40 brand new minis have just appeared in our Etsy store! Phew!
